Did a Democratic congressman's son break in?

Dirty Tricks: Palin Email Brea Dirty Tricks Squad breaks into Palin's email server. Steals emails and photos, then liberal websites like Huffington Post post the emails which also include email addresses and photos of her family members.

FLASH: The 20 year old son of Democratic state congressman Mike Kernell from Memphis has been contacted "is at the center" of this by authorities and may have been the creep to do the break-in.

Some have questioned if liberal websites are involved in receiving stolen goods, since the email images were stolen and the receiver knew they were stolen. We are not attorneys and will leave that for others to decide.

Recall that Sarah's Social Security number has already been stolen and displayed. The Washington Post's Karl Vick (travel smear 9/9, small anti-Palin protest 9/13) got the party started when he published her Yahoo email address on September 10.

I read though the emails… ALL OF THEM… before I posted, and what I concluded was anticlimactic, there was nothing there, nothing incriminating, nothing that would derail her campaign as I had hoped

If Gov. Palin hadn’t been using a consumer-level Yahoo! account (more than one, actually) this crime wouldn’t have happened because the hacker exploited the service’s “forgot-my-password” mechanism, which is inherently insecure.
Previously disclosed e-mails indicate her administration embraced Yahoo! Accounts, among other reasons, because of questions over whether personal e-mail accounts are covered under Alaska’s Open Records Act. Palin’s critics in Alaska were poring over records they had obtained from the governor’s office of official internal e-mail communications and causing political hay.
The issues are inextricably linked.

the linked story did not say that the son had been contacted. your article says he has. what is your source?

Here is the latest word on Sarah Palin's hacker. He is the son of a democratic congressman. Now it should be pretty clear who is behind this illegal hack.

Yet another fake issue for republicans to get their pantyhoses in a twist. First it was the lipstick on the pig joke (the pig being McCain), then all sorts of whining about Palin being disrespected. If the wannabe VP is too careless with her e-mail accounts, then tough luck. She has already been exposed as corrupt as Governor and as being nose deep in influence-peddling and nepotism - just the sort of behaviour that makes her ideal for the Republican White House. Let the Republicans talk about some real issues for a change, instead of distracting their clueless supporters with half-baked controversies.

Fake issue? Whats in your water Wayne? By the way she hasn't been exposed accused is the word you should have searched for, accused by democrats. Let's talk about a real issue that's not a half-baked controversy. Barack Obama is a racist bigot. He sat for 20 years under a racist bigot pastor, counted the racist bigot pastor as a spiritual mentor and family member. 20 years, that is 1,040 weeks. if he only went to church 50% of the time for one weekly service that's 520 services. If the racist bigot Wright missed 20% the weeks Obama heard him 416 times, heck if Wright wasn't there or didn't preach his racist, bigoted hate 50% of the time Obama still heard it 210 times. If one sits under that kind of racism, bigotry and hate that long, and considers the spewer of the racism and bigotry a mentor or family member, then I say that person agrees with the spewer, no matter the political reasons for disavowing it. In my book that makes Obama a racist, a bigot, and a hater of his own country. That alone is enough for a no vote on this racist, bigot! That's not a smear to fight, that's just the truth. The truth...now that is change we can't believe in.
