was changed to:
Sarah Palin Defends Experience, Takes Hard Line Approach on National Security h/t LGF right_on_target
ABC Lead-in: "Palin.. said that war with Russia may be necessary if Georgia were to join NATO and be invaded by Russia." (of course we would - and Joe Biden agrees)
Can you get more condescending than these comments/ questions from Charlie Gibson?
But this is not just reforming a government. This is also running a government on the huge international stage in a very dangerous world.
I'm just saying that national security is a whole lot more than energy.
Gibson had a gotcha moment when he culled a part of a prayer she made in a church:
Gibson: You said recently, in your old church, "Our national leaders are sending U.S. soldiers on a task that is from God." Are we fighting a holy war?
Palin: You know, I don't know if that was my exact quote.
Gibson: Exact words.
The "exact quote", as he puts it, is
Pray for our military men and women who are striving to do what is right. Also, for this country, that our leaders, our national leaders, are sending [US soldiers] out on a task that is from God
That's what we have to make sure that we're praying for, that there is a plan and that that plan is God's plan.
This is very silly.
