It looks like Obama is going to skip his Grandmother's funeral. She died last Sunday. His campaign says he will visit Hawaii in December. Instead of going to Hawaii this weekened, he is staying home in Chicago all weekend "so he can rest".

The AP sent Martha Mendoza all the way to Alaska several weeks ago and they didn't even get a T-shirt. All they got was a foreign policy experience smear.
The seven countries don't count because she did not meet with AP's straw man, Russia.
Ms. Mendoza uncovered the fact that Governor Palin met with leaders and representatives of at least 7 foreign countries - including Canada, ...

"Do you think they made the same assumptions about Lou Cannon (who is white) when he wrote his book about Reagan?" said Ifill, who is black. Asked if there were racial motives at play, she said, "I don't know what it is. I find it curious."

Palin's church is promoting a conference that promises to convert gays into heterosexuals through the power of prayer.
"I think gay Republicans are going to run away" if Palin supports efforts like the prayers to convert gays, said Wayne Besen, founder of the New York-based Truth Wins Out, a gay rights advocacy group.
